Larry Austin 80th Birthday Concert

CEMI presents a concert in honor of Professor Emeritus Larry Austin's 80th birthday. The program will include several works by Austin and one by his former student Elainie Lillios. Guest saxophonist Steve Duke and UNT faculty Stephen Harlos and James Scott will perform; a collaboration with digital media artist Kevin Evensen will also be featured.

The Center for Experimental Music and Intermedia welcomes two new staff members, Mark Oliveiro and Dan Tramte. Mark and Dan are entering the Ph.D. program in composition this year, and they join Jason Fick, Ben Johansen, Patrick Peringer, and L. Scott Price to form the new line-up of the CEMI team.
