Electric LaTex -- November 16 & 17, 2001
The first annual Electric LaTex electroacoustic festival was held November 16-17 at the University of Texas at Austin. This annual event is a three-way collaboration between the University of North Texas, Lousiana State University, and the University of Texas at Austin. Electric LaTex was created to be a student-centered event, with all concerts featuring only student compositions from the three schools. It's a great chance for the composition students from each school to see what's going at the other universities, and to foster the strong electroacoustic community in this corner of the U.S.
